Pure CSS3 Windows 7 Start Menu
An illustration of the Windows 7 Start Menus with pure CSS (No images or any kind of javascript). This work is dominated by the CSS3 gradient and inset box-shadow. Work (passing a typographical appearance) in all browsers that support CSS3. Every single element is created using CSS3 with the help of :after and :before pseudo elements.
You can see most of the menus and tooltips by hovering over their icon / parent which includes the tray, task bar applications, start orb and all the menus followed by an arrow in the start menu. Feel free to look at the source code.
