These dancing daisies will add some much needed color and whimsy to any project. Not only are the daisies animated, but the petals are also constantly changing colors, both gradually and abruptly, depending on the flower. A cool use of CSS transitions and animations,

This snippet features an SVG animation that depicts the perfect spring day — a bright blue sky, green mountains and hills, dandelions floating in the air, and a nice birch tree about to blossom. If this snippet doesn’t get you into the spring feeling, nothing will.

4. Sun

Another SVG animation, the sun-inspired image from this snippet actually rotates and changes color gradually. The style, which is a modern, minimalist depiction of the largest star in the solar system, would be a great addition to any other projects with modern aesthetics.

5. Flowers

This snippet gives you code for making some really cool CSS flowers. The flowers change color and design when you hover over them. Right now the snippet is only supported on most browsers with the use of vendor prefixes, so be sure to use them if you’re including these flowers in your project, or think about holding off on including them on your pages if your site tends to be viewed on older browsers.

6. In the Beach

Daydream about the warmer weather ahead with this beachy snippet. Most of the CSS is static but if you pay attention you should be able to spot some animated seagulls flying over the horizon.

7. Growing Flowers

This tutorial uses HTML5 canvas to achieve the animated effect. The flowers start out as teeny tiny, and grow to be large and take up a good chunk of the canvas. Totally customizable in terms of colors, speeds, and number of flowers.
